It's interesting to note that the company rarely engages in specs-based competition with products like Xiaomi, Realme, or OnePlus. Instead, Samsung plays to its strengths and likes to win over users with, among other things, a neat user interface that comes with built-in perks like Knox security, etc. Consider the recently released Galaxy A52s, which introduces a Qualcomm 7-series microprocessor to a market area that is currently dominated by the Snapdragon 888 processor. It should go without saying that the Galaxy A52s won't break any records. That isn't to argue, though, that the car isn't a good daily driver. So, in this review, let’s see if you should or shouldn’t spend your bucks on the Samsung Galaxy A52s. Software: The Galaxy A52s 5G has, to put it mildly, a really severe bloatware situation. I can appreciate how many features Samsung packs into its One UI. That simply does not justify the 35+ pre-installed apps on the Indian device I tested, though. European models might differ, but that doesn't even take into account the widgets and notification spam from Samsung's integrated apps, which the firm has pledged to stop doing but hasn't done as of this writing. Additionally, not all of these programs are removeable. Shame on you, Samsung. Stereo speakers are present on the Galaxy A52s 5G, although they're not very good. The audio output is weak and lacks any discernible bass. On the other hand, the volume levels are adequate for calls or watching YouTube videos. Yes, the headphone jack is present and functional as expected. The audio quality is acceptable, and the phone easily drove each of my headphones. Samsung is promoting the Galaxy A52s 5G's strong 5G capability across a variety of bands. That excludes mmWave 5G, though, which is not surprising given the cost or the fact that it is not yet available in the US. Support for Wi-Fi 6: The Galaxy A52s 5G supports Wi-Fi 6 in addition to 5G, which is a small but welcome improvement over the previous Galaxy A52 series phones. Support for microSD cards: Samsung has integrated a hybrid SIM slot that enables customers to quickly extend storage using the second SIM card slot. Updates: The manufacturer committed to providing the Galaxy A52s 5G with three years of OS updates and four years of security updates. Although more than most other businesses provide, three years is wonderful but not the best. The Galaxy A53 5G and other more recent Samsung smartphones receive an additional year of OS updates.     Difference between new and refurbished: A new product is one that has never been used before and is in its original packaging.
